The hex shank at the center of the tool offers 360-degree access, allowing for operation even in confined or partially obstructed spaces and offering the potential for ratcheting capabilities at a lower cost than many popular ratcheting models.
- APPLICATION: This spreader offers an operational minimum expansion of 1.67 inches and a maximum expansion of 2.625 (2-5/8) inches. With its 3/4-inch hex shank, this compact and powerful brake pad spreader is suitable for use with a 3/4-inch ratchet wrench, open end wrench, or adjustable wrench to compress caliper pistons quicker and easier than with a C-clamp. **NOTE: Ratchet wrench not included with this tool.**
