All of our technicians have spent many years in Mercedes Dealerships, each bringing with them valuable knowledge and a wealth of experience to enhance AutoTechs already confident Mercedes Specialist service team, which enables us to continue to exceed your expectations!  All technicians have completed many training courses  at Mercedes Benz UK in Milton Keynes.  James, along with Richard sat and passed his diagnostic technician exams giving them both the prestigious Diagnostic Technician status, meaning Autotech have two diagnostic technicians, interestingly some dealers have not managed to achieve this number.

Steven began his career in 1989 at Lloyd BMW. His initial training came both locally at Carlisle College and also at BMW GB in Bracknell.

After 9 years Steven joined Dobies, Peugeot Lillyhall, as head technician and after a further year joined Mercedes Benz in Carlisle. Steven continued his training at Mercedes HQ in Milton Keynes.

In 2002, seeking a new challenge, Steven joined the sales team at Lloyd Honda. He loved the personal contact this role offered. Steven subsequently returned to Mercedes as a service advisor where this customer contact was also coupled with controlling the workflow planning of the technicians.

He co-founded Auto|Tech in 2005.

Richard's career began at Robin Ross Motors in Longtown and he undertook his initial training at Carlisle College. In the years that followed Richard moved into the Ford franchise dealership before joining Volvo where he continued his training at Volvo UK in Daventry.

Richard joined Mercedes Benz in Carlisle in 1997. Whilst there he developed his skills even further becoming an air conditioning service and repair specialist.

In 2004 Richard was invited to Mercedes Benz in Milton Keynes to be assessed for his diagnostics technician status which he subsequently passed. All Mercedes Benz dealers in the network must have at least one diagnostics technician. Richard is one of ours.

He co-founded Auto|Tech in 2005.

Graeme Jackson joined AutoTech in February 2008.

James Kirkpatrick joined AutoTech in May 2009.

Karl Wallace joined AutoTech in October 2010.

Jamie Ellis joined AutoTech in July 2010 as an apprentice.  He is currently carrying out his training with System Group in Carlisle on day release and on the job training within our service team.  We realise to secure the continued success of Autotech we need to invest in young people.
